In 2023 exceptionally open during the following days: Monday 10 April and Friday 17 November.

Guided tours from 1 April to 29 October for groups of more than 5 people every hour from the station in the second courtyard. Last tour one and a half hours before the castle closes. Last entry to the castle half an hour before closing time. There are no guided tours during all-day cultural events. During national holidays and International Days of Monuments and Museums the castle will be open on an extraordinary basis.

 

ARTICLE 2. Admission

The guided tour includes the first to fourth courtyards, the gallery, H - studio, the observation tower, the exhibition of artistic blacksmithing, the historical mint, the exhibition of archaeology and the newly opened palace torso.

March and November: adults 80 CZK, primary school pupils, students and pensioners 40 CZK, chilndren under 6 free.

April to October: adults 150 CZK, primary school pupils, students and pensioners 80 CZK, children under 6 free.

 

Free entry:

-          children up to 6 years of age, teachers accompanying school trips, holders of ZTP cards,

-          staff of the heritage conservation with AMG, ICOMOS and ZMS cards,

-          ZTP/P card holders  (with a 50% discount for one accompanying person).

Discounts are only available on presentation of the appropriate cards. Ticket prices may vary for individual events - prices are listed in the event calendar. The last guided tour is an hour and a half before the castle closes.

During the month of March, the castle can be opened for pre-announced group tours (over 30 people) during weekdays.

During the high season (1. 5. – 31. 8.), the lunch break is from 12.15 to 12.45 pm.

The castle is not open on Mondays and on the days following a public holiday.

A tour of the castle takes approximately 50 minutes. The last tour starts an hour and a half before the end of the visiting hours. The last access to the castle is allowed at least half an hour before the end of opening hours.

 

Surcharge

-          of CZK 20,- for visitors who take the guided tour during the lunch break,

-          of CZK 20,- in the last half hour before the castle closes, in the case of entry to the expositions,

-          of CZK 20,- in high season, but not during working hours,

-          of CZK 10,- for entrance to the Wide wall with a guide,

-          of CZK 10,- for extraordinary group visits outside the season, authorized by the management of the Comenius Museum in Přerov,

-          of CZK 10,- for participants of parties, weddings and other celebrations who are not interested in visiting the castle and exhibitions.

If a visitor requests to enter the castle half an hour before the castle closes, he/she will be warned by the cashier that he/she can no longer visit the upper part of the castle behind the 3rd gate or the exhibition hall in the 2nd castle courtyard.

participants of parties, weddings and other celebrations who are not interested in visiting the castle and exhibitions are obliged to pay for the use of the castle premises at the rate of CZK 10 per person regardless of age

in case a visitor requests to enter the castle half an hour before the closing time, he/she will be informed by the cashier that he/she cannot visit the upper part of the castle behind the 3rd gate or the exhibition hall in the 2nd castle courtyard. If the visitor insists on entering the castle, for example to visit the restaurant, he/she will have to pay a CZK 10 lower admission fee than the full rate for the age of the visitor.

After paying the entrance fee, the visitor will receive a date-stamped ticket. Visitors are obliged to keep the ticket for the entire tour and present it upon request.

The ticket is only valid for one visit to the building. Purchased tickets are non-refundable.

In the case of a group visit, payment can be made by invoice on request.

A receipt will be issued on request for goods valued at more than 20,-CZK.
